A chilled, lighter-style red with brooding earthy notes, fresh herbs and dark fruit. Expect blackberry, dark cherry and pepper on the nose, followed by smoky edges, black plum, lavender and rosemary on the palate. Crisp, dry, fresh and finely tannined with beautiful subtlety and balance.

Kenzie Duet is crafted by the amazing Dave Mackintosh, who returned to Aotearoa after 15 years making acclaimed wines in the Yarra Valley under Arfion and Salo. Drawing on Hawke’s Bay soils and lo-fi techniques, Dave creates modern, instinctive wines that embrace risk, express place, and allow each vintage to tell its own story.
