A bright, ultra-fresh Albariño bursting with citrus peel, white nectarine, lime blossom and a soft saline edge. Juicy, crisp and seriously refreshing.

Made by Dave Mackintosh, who returned to Aotearoa after 15 years in the Yarra Valley to craft lo-fi, instinctive wines under his Kenzie label. The Mangatahi Albariño comes from a cool inland Hawke’s Bay site, giving the wine its electric acidity and purity. Fermented gently with minimal intervention, it’s a beautifully textural take on the Spanish variety while staying distinctly NZ.

Zesty, saline, vibrant and wildly drinkable.
