An inky, dark-maroon red with aromas of chocolate, cocoa powder, bay leaf and dried herbs. The palate is full-bodied and bold, packed with blackberry, plum and dark fruit, supported by well-integrated oak, black olive, spice, earthy notes and a touch of chocolate.

Mitolo is a family-owned McLaren Vale estate founded in 1999 by Frank Mitolo, shaped by his family’s Abruzzese heritage and early collaboration with winemaker Ben Glaetzer. Their philosophy blends old-world respect for the land with modern craftsmanship, producing rich, expressive wines that reflect both tradition and innovation.
