• Product Info

100% Chenin Blanc with a touch of residual sugar, rich and textured with ripe apricot and pear, subtle waxiness, and delicate white-flower aromatics.

Though grown within the Anjou appellation, the Mosse family intentionally declassify this cuvée to VDF. Les Bonnes Blanches is widely regarded as the area’s top terroir, set beside the Layon River with shallow, decomposing schist and quartz over schist bedrock. The 40-year-old vines root deep, giving remarkable minerality. Harvesting is done early to produce a dry style, with slow pressing and fermentation/aging in old Burgundian barrels.

Minimal sulphur is added at bottling.
