A bright, easy-drinking Syrah with cherry, cola, rose petal and smoky notes, finishing smooth with gentle pepper spice.

Grown through a hot, chaotic summer that ended with Cyclone Gabrielle, this block survived with thick-skinned, underripe berries that were protected through the storm. Left to ripen in the calm autumn sunshine, it became one of the last parcels picked in the region—allowing exceptional flavour development. The Giunta range is part of Decibel Wines, where winemaker Dan Brennan focuses on honest, approachable, minimal-fuss wines that celebrate Hawke’s Bay’s resilience, character and generosity.
